Cultivation Notes
Bruce Banner typically completes its flowering cycle in around 9 weeks. The plant forms a tall structure with vigorous stretch, strong branching, and dense buds coated in thick crystalline trichomes. Indoors it can produce up to 60 grams per sq ft, while outdoor plants in warm climates can grow significantly larger and yield exceptionally high volumes. The flowers display hues of deep green and purple with bright orange pistils, and the aroma develops into a sharp blend of fuel, earth, citrus, and light strawberry sweetness as harvest approaches. This cultivar thrives with ample vertical space, steady airflow, and training methods that help manage its natural vigor.
Additional Info
Many people describe the overall experience as uplifting and energizing at first, followed by a steady, relaxing body presence that reflects its hybrid balance. Its terpene profile brings together diesel sharpness, sweet berry notes, and earthy citrus, creating a layered flavor that has helped define its reputation. Bruce Banner is known for both potency and visual appeal, making it a favorite among growers who enjoy strong resin output and bold aromatic expression. When fully cured, the flavor deepens into a rich, pungent mix that showcases the best traits of both its OG Kush and Strawberry Diesel heritage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Bruce Banner a Sativa, Indica, or Hybrid?
Sativa Leaning Hybrid
Is Bruce Banner an Autoflower or Photoperiod strain?
Bruce Banner is a Photoperiod strain. Photoperiod varieties flower when the light schedule changes (typically 12 hours on / 12 hours off). They take longer than autoflowers but give you more control over plant size and yield. Autoflower varieties flower automatically based on age, usually finishing 9 to 12 weeks from seed — no light timing required.
How long does it take Bruce Banner to grow?
Photoperiod strains give you more control over timing, but they take longer overall — typically 3 to 5 months from seed to harvest. You'll spend 4 to 8 weeks in vegetative growth (where you control how big the plant gets), then switch to a 12/12 light schedule to trigger flowering, which takes another 7 to 10 weeks depending on the strain. Indoor growers have full control over when to flip, while outdoor harvests generally land between late September and mid-October. Check the strain details above for specific flowering time estimates, and visit our growing guide for a full walkthrough.

What does Bruce Banner produce — THC, CBD, or CBG?
THC
What do other growers report Bruce Banner feeling like when consumed?

How do I germinate Bruce Banner seeds?
We recommend the paper towel method for the most reliable results. Start with a 24-hour soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% H2O2 to 6 parts water) to boost germination rates. After soaking, place your seeds between two damp paper towels inside a container or plastic bag, and keep them in a warm spot (around 75 to 80°F). Most seeds crack open within 24 to 72 hours. Once a taproot appears, transfer the seed gently into your growing medium about a quarter-inch deep. For a full walkthrough, check out our germination guide.
