Cultivation Notes
Purple Lemonade Auto generally reaches about 3 to 4 feet tall and completes its cycle in 9 to 10 weeks, forming a sturdy structure with long fan leaves and multiple thick side branches. Indoors it can produce up to 51 grams per sq ft. During flowering, it will develop striking purple buds with green sugar leaves, bright orange pistils, and, in some cases, rose pink trichomes that give the flowers a unique pinkish hue at harvest. As maturity approaches, the aroma intensifies from sweet citrus to a sharper sweet and sour lemon profile that becomes even more pronounced when the buds are broken apart. This cultivar responds especially well to LST thanks to its strong internodal spacing, and it thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments with consistent nutrition and airflow.
Additional Info
The breeder reports Purple Lemonade Auto to be the best purple strain they have ever created. Many people describe the overall experience as uplifting at first, gradually settling into a calmer, more grounded feel that reflects its Indica leaning genetics. The contrast of dark purple buds, green foliage, and orange pistils also gives this strain strong visual appeal for growers who enjoy colorful varieties. When properly flushed, dried, and cured, the flavor tends to deepen into a sweet and tangy lemon blend with light tropical notes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Purple Lemonade Auto a Sativa, Indica, or Hybrid?
Indica Dominant Hybrid
Is Purple Lemonade Auto an Autoflower or Photoperiod strain?
Purple Lemonade Auto is an Autoflower. Autoflower varieties flower automatically based on age, usually finishing 9 to 12 weeks from seed regardless of light schedule. No light timing required — they're ideal for new growers, fast turnarounds, and growing indoors year-round. Photoperiod varieties flower when the light schedule changes (typically 12 hours on / 12 hours off). They take longer but give you more control over plant size and yield.
How long does it take Purple Lemonade Auto to grow?
Autoflowers are the fastest path from seed to harvest. Most finish in 8 to 12 weeks total from germination, regardless of light schedule. Because they flower based on age rather than light changes, there's no separate vegetative phase to manage. Just plant, provide consistent light (18 to 20 hours a day works well), and let the plant do its thing. Check the strain details above for specific timing estimates, and visit our growing guide for tips on getting the most out of your grow.

How do I germinate Purple Lemonade Auto seeds?
Autoflowers need a slightly different approach because their roots are sensitive to transplanting. Start with a 24-hour soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% H2O2 to 6 parts water) to boost germination. After soaking, plant the seed directly into its final container (3 to 5 gallon pot) about half an inch deep — do not use the paper towel method or start in a small pot. Spray the area around the seed to keep the soil moist, but do not soak the entire container. The key with autoflowers is to never transplant them.
