Cultivation Notes
A feminized F1 hybrid with a short, manageable structure that works well in tents and small indoor spaces. Expect medium-to-high stretch during early flower, so plan your flip timing accordingly if ceiling height is limited. Flowering time is 8 to 10 weeks. This is a stress-tolerant variety that forgives minor mistakes, making it a solid pick for new growers. Light defoliation mid-flower helps airflow around the dense lower buds. Also performs well outdoors in full-season climates.
Additional Info
People often describe the experience as balanced, cerebral but grounded, with a long-lasting finish that rewards slow sessions. Frequently reported as a go-to for unwinding at the end of the day, with many people noting deep relaxation. The savory cheese profile is a throwback to the legendary UK Cheese strains, which have become increasingly rare. A good conversation starter for anyone who thinks every strain smells the same.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Cheesy Bread a Sativa, Indica, or Hybrid?
Indica
Is Cheesy Bread an Autoflower or Photoperiod strain?
Cheesy Bread is a Photoperiod strain. Photoperiod varieties flower when the light schedule changes (typically 12 hours on / 12 hours off). They take longer than autoflowers but give you more control over plant size and yield. Autoflower varieties flower automatically based on age, usually finishing 9 to 12 weeks from seed — no light timing required.
How long does it take Cheesy Bread to grow?
Photoperiod strains give you more control over timing, but they take longer overall — typically 3 to 5 months from seed to harvest. You'll spend 4 to 8 weeks in vegetative growth (where you control how big the plant gets), then switch to a 12/12 light schedule to trigger flowering, which takes another 7 to 10 weeks depending on the strain. Indoor growers have full control over when to flip, while outdoor harvests generally land between late September and mid-October. How do I germinate Cheesy Bread seeds?
We recommend the paper towel method for the most reliable results. Start with a 24-hour soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% H2O2 to 6 parts water) to boost germination rates. After soaking, place your seeds between two damp paper towels inside a container or plastic bag, and keep them in a warm spot (around 75 to 80°F). Most seeds crack open within 24 to 72 hours. Once a taproot appears, transfer the seed gently into your growing medium about a quarter-inch deep. For a full walkthrough, check out our germination guide.
