Background
We named Lemon Ripper because the smell immediately reminded us of the famous Jack the Ripper strain. It is a true F1 hybrid, so expect hybrid vigor along with some phenotypic variation across a crop. We chose 29B as the partner for our BaOx Improved because of its terpene profile and flower density.
Cultivation Notes
BaOx Improved, a CBD-dominant line, contributes heavy yields and a sweet, pungent base, and 29B contributes dense flowers and a strong lemon profile. Both parents have a bushy growth habit. Flowering time is 8 to 10 weeks. As a full-season variety, it does best outdoors in regions with a long growing season.
Additional Info
Growers commonly associate Lemon Ripper with a calm, relaxing character. The clean lemon scent is the standout, and the dense, bushy plants produce phenomenal smokable flower. Available in 3 to 50 seed packs.
Bred in-house by Triangle Seeds.

Is Lemon Ripper an Autoflower or Photoperiod strain?
Lemon Ripper is a Photoperiod strain. Photoperiod varieties flower when the light schedule changes (typically 12 hours on / 12 hours off). They take longer than autoflowers but give you more control over plant size and yield. Autoflower varieties flower automatically based on age, usually finishing 9 to 12 weeks from seed — no light timing required.
How long does it take Lemon Ripper to grow?
Photoperiod strains give you more control over timing, but they take longer overall — typically 3 to 5 months from seed to harvest. You'll spend 4 to 8 weeks in vegetative growth (where you control how big the plant gets), then switch to a 12/12 light schedule to trigger flowering, which takes another 7 to 10 weeks depending on the strain. Indoor growers have full control over when to flip, while outdoor harvests generally land between late September and mid-October. Check the strain details above for specific flowering time estimates, and visit our growing guide for a full walkthrough.

How do I germinate Lemon Ripper seeds?
We recommend the paper towel method for the most reliable results. Start with a 24-hour soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% H2O2 to 6 parts water) to boost germination rates. After soaking, place your seeds between two damp paper towels inside a container or plastic bag, and keep them in a warm spot (around 75 to 80°F). Most seeds crack open within 24 to 72 hours. Once a taproot appears, transfer the seed gently into your growing medium about a quarter-inch deep. For a full walkthrough, check out our germination guide.
