Cultivation Notes
Apple Strudel Auto generally reaches around 3.5 to 4 feet tall and typically finishes flowering about 9 to 10 weeks after planting, maintaining a compact frame with short internodes and focused side branching. Indoors it can produce up to up to 50 grams per sq ft, forming rock hard, resin heavy buds with light green tones that can shift toward purples as the plant approaches harvest. The aroma deepens throughout flowering, evolving from sweet apple to a sharper sweet and sour profile with subtle funky undertones. Thanks to its structure, this cultivar fits well in SOG setups, and growers can improve airflow and light penetration with thoughtful spacing and gentle defoliation.
Additional Info
Its sweet and sour apple terpene profile gives the strain a recognizable character, especially after a proper cure enhances the dessert like notes. The plant’s compact size, strong resilience, and ability to develop autumn-like colors in the final weeks make it appealing to growers who appreciate both performance and visual expression. When dialed in, Apple Strudel Auto consistently rewards cultivators with aromatic, colorful flowers and a distinct fruit driven flavor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Apple Strudel Auto a Sativa, Indica, or Hybrid?
Hybrid
Is Apple Strudel Auto an Autoflower or Photoperiod strain?
Apple Strudel Auto is an Autoflower. Autoflower varieties flower automatically based on age, usually finishing 9 to 12 weeks from seed regardless of light schedule. No light timing required — they're ideal for new growers, fast turnarounds, and growing indoors year-round. Photoperiod varieties flower when the light schedule changes (typically 12 hours on / 12 hours off). They take longer but give you more control over plant size and yield.
How long does it take Apple Strudel Auto to grow?
Autoflowers are the fastest path from seed to harvest. Most finish in 8 to 12 weeks total from germination, regardless of light schedule. Because they flower based on age rather than light changes, there's no separate vegetative phase to manage. Just plant, provide consistent light (18 to 20 hours a day works well), and let the plant do its thing. Check the strain details above for specific timing estimates, and visit our growing guide for tips on getting the most out of your grow.
What does Apple Strudel Auto smell like?
Apple, Sour, Sweet
What does Apple Strudel Auto produce — THC, CBD, or CBG?
THC
What do other growers report Apple Strudel Auto feeling like when consumed?
Clear-headed, Peaceful, Grounded
How do I germinate Apple Strudel Auto seeds?
Autoflowers need a slightly different approach because their roots are sensitive to transplanting. Start with a 24-hour soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% H2O2 to 6 parts water) to boost germination. After soaking, plant the seed directly into its final container (3 to 5 gallon pot) about half an inch deep — do not use the paper towel method or start in a small pot. Spray the area around the seed to keep the soil moist, but do not soak the entire container. The key with autoflowers is to never transplant them.
