This is a type 2 line which was bred for a well balanced cannabinoid profile. The grower can expect a ratio of CBD:THC at 2:1 with total cannabinoids as high as 29%! The aromas on these buds are a magical blend of gassy and sweet. Diesel Dessert finishes its flowering cycle in just 8 weeks weighing in some heavy yields! These buds have the “Sour Diesel” dense bud structure with an enormous amount of trichome coverage. This hybridized strain is extremely resisitant against outdoor and indoor pest pressures. If you have never experienced a full cannabinoid spectrum, Diesel Dessert will be the perfect treat. This seed was developed by Green Luster Phenos. Is Diesel Dessert an Autoflower or Photoperiod strain?
Diesel Dessert is a Photoperiod strain. Photoperiod varieties flower when the light schedule changes (typically 12 hours on / 12 hours off). They take longer than autoflowers but give you more control over plant size and yield. Autoflower varieties flower automatically based on age, usually finishing 9 to 12 weeks from seed — no light timing required.
How long does it take Diesel Dessert to grow?
Photoperiod strains give you more control over timing, but they take longer overall — typically 3 to 5 months from seed to harvest. You'll spend 4 to 8 weeks in vegetative growth (where you control how big the plant gets), then switch to a 12/12 light schedule to trigger flowering, which takes another 7 to 10 weeks depending on the strain. Indoor growers have full control over when to flip, while outdoor harvests generally land between late September and mid-October. Check the strain details above for specific flowering time estimates, and visit our growing guide for a full walkthrough.

How do I germinate Diesel Dessert seeds?
We recommend the paper towel method for the most reliable results. Start with a 24-hour soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% H2O2 to 6 parts water) to boost germination rates. After soaking, place your seeds between two damp paper towels inside a container or plastic bag, and keep them in a warm spot (around 75 to 80°F). Most seeds crack open within 24 to 72 hours. Once a taproot appears, transfer the seed gently into your growing medium about a quarter-inch deep. For a full walkthrough, check out our germination guide.
