Cultivation Notes
A fast-flowering sativa with a stout, manageable structure and medium stretch that won’t get away from you in a tent. Flowering wraps up in 7 to 8 weeks, and the dense canopy benefits from some leaf removal to let light reach the lower buds. Extremely easy to trim, whether by hand or machine. One of the more versatile and forgiving strains in this lineup, well-suited for growers at any experience level.
Additional Info
People consistently describe the experience as uplifted, focused, and cerebral, often reported as creatively stimulating with a longer-than-expected duration. A favorite among those who want a functional, energizing experience with serious flavor. The sandy, gritty resin washes well for solventless concentrates. One of the most reviewed strains in this collection, with consistently positive feedback on both flavor and function.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Pineapple Sunrise a Sativa, Indica, or Hybrid?
Sativa
Is Pineapple Sunrise an Autoflower or Photoperiod strain?
Pineapple Sunrise is a Photoperiod strain. Photoperiod varieties flower when the light schedule changes (typically 12 hours on / 12 hours off). They take longer than autoflowers but give you more control over plant size and yield. Autoflower varieties flower automatically based on age, usually finishing 9 to 12 weeks from seed — no light timing required.
How long does it take Pineapple Sunrise to grow?
Photoperiod strains give you more control over timing, but they take longer overall — typically 3 to 5 months from seed to harvest. You'll spend 4 to 8 weeks in vegetative growth (where you control how big the plant gets), then switch to a 12/12 light schedule to trigger flowering, which takes another 7 to 10 weeks depending on the strain. Indoor growers have full control over when to flip, while outdoor harvests generally land between late September and mid-October. How do I germinate Pineapple Sunrise seeds?
We recommend the paper towel method for the most reliable results. Start with a 24-hour soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% H2O2 to 6 parts water) to boost germination rates. After soaking, place your seeds between two damp paper towels inside a container or plastic bag, and keep them in a warm spot (around 75 to 80°F). Most seeds crack open within 24 to 72 hours. Once a taproot appears, transfer the seed gently into your growing medium about a quarter-inch deep. For a full walkthrough, check out our germination guide.
